Having an old car isn't something really worth bragging about, Charlie.

ITR's don't even really have a production number, it was a marketing gimmick they did for USDM ITR's. So out of 15000 ITR's yours may be #00001 USDM R but it could have been the 1000 one made. Theres no real way to tell the badge number by the vin, just teh production number of any DC2 integra made.

thats actually one of my main conserns.... im thrown the swap in next weekend! my doner is an OBD1, and now my car is, as far as i know,,, OBD nuthin.... guess i'll find out next weekend...

and i was under the understandings that if the production date was prior to October, then its not considered the next year... so in essance, my car truely is an 89 right???

an hell yeah im braggin,,, that old, and aint been totaled yet.... come-on,, gots to be worth somtin (figuritivly speaking)...

a whole bunch of the 1990 PT3's had a blinking red dot, but all CB7s were OBD1 and had a CEL jumper plug. you just didnt look hard enough.

I always thought that to be the truth, but I never knew some early 90's pt3's had teh red dot... Were they all a1's in 90, or did the EX rock the a4 like the 91's?

                    edit:found the answer.

side note, once they stopped installing the red LED, in the run following it, they still left the place on the circuit board for it, and it functions normally if installed... ive tried it and it works... ACCLUDE91 made a thread on it.

not to bust ur bubble bec 8/89 is pretty damn old... but its not special lol

Go look again for the plug.

I am sure by this point in time there are very few with the jumper plug untouched.

It should be taped to the wiring harness right by the glovebox, just as you look up. But it is black tape on a small blue plug, so it is hard to see if you aren't staring right at it.

Also, mine was built in June of 1990, and I still had the LED on my ECU.
