cp[mike] : 1993 Accord EX

Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing my last CB7 sedan.

I purchased this as my daily driver just over 3 years ago, it was supposed to be my "final" CB7 until I later purchased ATX's white coupe. Surviving a dead F22 and a front end accident, this car was partially stripped and left waiting for the majority of the time i have had it. It's pretty much all back together, and I've been using it as my daily driver.

[ Engine ]
- Stock F22A6 (Automatic)
- NGK Blue wires
- Megan Racing header & downpipe
- Magnaflow cat
- External transmission cooler
- White-labelled fusebox cover from a '91

[ Suspension ]
- Stock
- New passenger side wheel bearing

[ Exterior ]
- CB7Tuner.com decals

[ Interior ]
- Stock blue removed and traded for the grey from excalibur02's sedan
- chrome/clear H emblem on steering wheel
- Custom hinged plywood trunk panel

[ Recent Work ]
- New thermostat
- Replaced fuel gauge
- Repainted wiper arms satin black, with new blades
- Dead-on alignment with printout
- Lower tube seals
- Valve adjustment and timing set to +1°
- Full tune-up: plugs, wires, filters, fluids, cleaned IM, etc
- Seafoam treatment
- Reassembled and detailed interior
- Straightened and aligned front end panels
- Wetsanded out the scrapes
- Buffed out all scratches and marks
- Touch-up painted all nicks and dings

[ Future Work ]
- Replace headlight
- replace driver side axle
- Swap these tires onto the car's original 10-spoke alloys
- SELL!

Sad to see a car that has been part of the family for 8 years now drive off, but we took good care of each other and its for the best!

Here are some pictures of it, of how it looked on its last day (bone stock, with all the missing pieces fixed):

this is not a new one, its just my "new" winter beater again! lol/

this car has been through quite a bit. I had my first EX sedan, the clean one with the grey interior and grey-top H22. once that car got wrecked, i picked this one up as the replacement, and started swapping parts over to it. between a bit of bad luck and an F22 that died, the car kinda fell apart quickly, and sat for a while with no motor, no interior, a wrinkled-up front end, and TONS of dirt. ive since spent many hours cleaning it up and reassembling and detailing all the corners, and its coming together very very nicely. its got the front bumepr from my first car, the hood from my coupe, the trunk from my second car, the mirror from my 4th car, the interior from mauricio's car, the motor from minoreparation's red coupe, etc. so in all of this craziness and swapping around, ive misplaced most of the clips for my sideskirt (i stole all of them for my coupe ) and the mirror was removed to replace a broken one on my previous '91.

its a very very mixed up long story, as some of you may know, so im not going to try to explain every detail, except that its my current daily driver, until i get the opportunity to sell it in favor of something more useful. after this is gone, i dont ever plan to purchase another CB7 besides keeping my coupe.

heres a couple older pictures from the past couple years along the way...

this is how i got it

after the accident

after i "straightened it"

after it went back to sitting...

and most recently is the pictures at the top of this thread!

Interesting how you say it's your last cb7 purchase and how you've busted your butt on many in the past. We have similar stories, only on my end some cb7s where family member owned, you owned all yours.

I'm at the same point in my life, I have 2 cb7s. I still am driving the red as DD, but it will be upgrade in a few years to something newer. I will keep my white project indefinitely and break it out in nice weather.

its true how similar our stories are. seems like they were a very similar CB7 enthusiasm and appreciation, starting at around the same time, following a very similar path, just in a different life context lol.

in the past few years with these cars, they have been an extraordinary learning experience, and have been affordable in doing so. but at this point in their age, their value, and the business of my life, i cant have more CB7 projects around. my coupe will also always be my project, and will no doubt see some crazy things in the future, but otherwise i need to be rid of the extra overhead of being a CB7 collector lol. its been years in the making, to have all of these cars fixed up and gone, and the garage cleaned out... sooooooon....
