Wrong Engine?!?!

I read somewhere that the 1991 LX came with an F22A4 but mine has an A1?!
Do I have the wrong motor in my car or was there A4s and A1s in the 91s? Can anyone clear this up for me? I hope this doesnt sound like a noob question but it is a mystery to me!

9091 ex's came with a4's. 9091 lx's came with a1's. 9293 ex came with a6, 9293 lx came with a1

I got the A6 cam, H23 IM wit A6 runners, modified airbox and just C-foamed it. Now that was some funny shit. But its pretty fast.
