    g23 belt question

    f23 block - h23 head in a non cb7; 6th gen

my friend has it in the shop now and has tried several different timing belts with no avail.

i know tht this aint a cb7, but i believe adam did this exact swap and had this working

we tried B20 (from old prelude), H22, H23. or best bet was a gsr belt, but its too wide and rubs.

on the dohc f22's, a gsr belt works fine. so there is some diffence in f22 and f23 bottom ends

other info: stock h23 cam gears; h23 lower cam gear

any help or any other belts tht we could try would be helpful

might want to use a string to measure what size of belt you need along with width as far as ribs go. check out gates belts, they have a good catalog of different belts

mine [gsr belt] was too wide so the gears naturally just trimmed it off when it was running so expect black powder all over the place.
