OK, I want to know the best choice from anyone who had experience with apexi n1, tanabe and tein super street and basic damper setup for the accords 90-97. Tein are a little on the soft side so anyone know which ones are better

nex or ksports/d2 racing for all out track setup, teins in the ss category are too soft. zeal is also a very expensive option but one of the best...Retired 1990 Accord LX Coupe

you could think about my set-up...ive got ground control coilovers which i bought off ebay for 225 and KYB AGX's which were 400 off ebay so total i spent 625 + install and im liking it. I would rate it a 8 or 9 out of ten because i can adjust the damping and what not. oh and GC coilovers use Eibach springs.

The Omni-power streets are pretty stiff, but I kinda wish I had gotten the ones with adjustable dampening, or gone with a different setup.Opal Metallic Green '92 LX 2dr manual, 181k miles, '94 prelude VTEC wheels for summer (steelies with snow tires for winter), Omni-power struts/springs, and other junk

Your right about the Bilstein, I was really asking this question for my friend with a 96 Accord. He had the Bilstein shock at first and I forget what kind of coilovers and they rode the best. We got swallowed into all the tein hype and he sold em and we both put teins in which they were good but too soft, the Bilsteins were perfect compared to the teins

Bilstein makes Adjustable Coilovers for out chassis?...all I could find in their website were the stock replacement (TC) and the Heavy Duty (HD) class shock absorbers...I didn't think they supported our car that much. You are speaking of the Bilstein PSS 9 System right?
this is all I found in the Bilstein application guide for our chassis, the PSS 9 System is no where to be found:
my suggestion to CBAccordA4: if you only drive on the streets and don't really do track days or go racing, go with the Tein SS Coilovers, they are designed for the road, whereas the other performance systems are best for the track. If you are getting a performance shock absorber system like the NEX, get the street spec (which still have much higher spring rates than the Teins)...otherwise the high spring rates will make your car very twitchy on normal roads and may even be dangerous. I know of several ppl that have spun their cars on the highway b/c they are using coilover systems with excessively high spring rates.DEVOTE

I have the tein basic on my 95 Accord ex and for the price it is the best way to go. My friends around here have bilstein and tokiko and all the high price setups and i have the best handling out of all of them. Plus i have a nice stock ride not bouncing my head off the ceiling. The softness is nice over bumps but cornering is tight with little understeer and the front end doesn't really slide. drop it and get a camber kit and alignment and save some money.vouch for:924dr, sn2bh22cb7, soysaucecb7, ecto1, PRIMESNIPER,2.2litrebeater,turbowagon94, losiracer2,jacobuchanan140, tommi, dannyd

Its not only about what coilover you have, but if you are looking for a set of coilovers, consider your tire size how stiff your cars chasis is, your quality of tire, your sway bar setup, your car weight, and then what are you going to do with them. Therefore if you want specifics for recomendation. we need tires you plan on running, size, weight of your car, platform (2 door or 4) what sways you have? and what chasis reinforcement do you plan to do or not. and what you want race sport or daily driver. ,,To have loved and lost is better than to have never loved at all #CB7Life
