Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Mugen N1 or Spoon P13 ECU...

Has anybody used one or does anybody have any info on both of these ecu's. I've searched mugen and spoon to see if I can get more info like vtec engagement, rev limiter, and etc but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not talking about egay spoon or mugen chips btw.

save your money for a chipped p28 tuned for your h22, it will perform much better than a generic spoon/mugen ecu. also don't forget those ecus were most likely tuned on higher octane fuel than we get...

Seems to be the same response I get everywhere else. Thanks! Wouldn't a P72 be better?

there is no real difference besides the p72 having a knock sensor and being more expensive and harder to find. If anything get a good tune and you won't have to worry about it. talk to d112crzy about getting a chipped ecu
