ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Why should I?

You know, so many times I would like to comment but I don't because somebody has already answered the question in the thread, or in another. Other times I would like to start a new thread asking all my Questions but I find its easier to google my problem with cb7 in the statement and I can find almost any answer to my question. I guess I started this as just some thoughts to express

You're among the minority. Most people will ask an all-too-common question before they even bother searching for the answer (you've probably noticed the weekly "my idle bounces up and down!" threads, answered in the sticky thread at the top of the beginner tech section marked "read here first!")

Since this site has been around for 8.5 years, the amount of information is HUGE. Most problems have already been addressed. Not all, and not every answer you find will be 100% clear to you... and in those cases, it's worth asking. There's nothing wrong with making a new thread to ask a question for the 10th time, when you've already read through the previous threads and didn't find a satisfactory answer. Most people, once they see that you actually DID put forth the effort to answer your own question before asking, will gladly help.

As for commenting... again, too many people like to say "yeah, what that guy said is right". Why? There's no point! If you have something new to add, by all means, say it. If you can't contribute useful information to a conversation, why waste the time and space to say anything at all?

Its a great source for information what can one say ? Its great when you are in a jam and tripping out about your at hand problem . To find a answer is quite pleasing and gives a point of entry to the solution. Sometimes its easier to search than post ..You get more results and info. .

A man that keeps looking back can't see whats in front of him.

...so, can you yell me the correct parts needed to complete a 5 lug conversion in the rear?

Also, my friend said that it's possible to install a n OBD-II H22 in my car, how can I do this?

***Meanwhile I have well over "50n" posts.***

LOL. JK. All jokes aside, I think your attitude and mentality towards going about things is pretty much how the frequent site members like to see blossom (okay, bad choice of verbiage; maybe grow would be better) on the site.

AAPOQ, you are a bright spot in the future of this site. Most of the people that ask for a question that's been answered a thousand times will never contribute to the wealth of knowledge that this site and community have to offer. They simply want a quick handout that they had interest in on a whim and will likely do nothing with the information that someone distressingly hands to them.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

You got to 30 posts TWICE, without resorting to being a post whore. That's more than 90% of the new members can do.

And for as long as I've owned CB's, I wish I would've started awhile ago on here. Thats why I wanna contribute Deev just kinda broke right now...
