    true. it takes an extra 5(if that) mins to wipe down at least the main surface areas. lol

    it doesnt even have to be about "show". i hardly pop my hood to show it off. When i work on my car, i rather have a clean engine/area to work around thats not covered in sludge/dust/oil/etc etc.

            Clean engine bays are like form and function because then you'll see if something is leaking or if anything is wrong. If everything is already covered in oil/dirt/crap its hard to even notice a leak.

                I can see it being a problem if your engine is covered in mud and stuff, but a dusting of dirt ehhh. Either way my bay got cleaned up for the meet along with the car.
