      K20 Si vs. me (wisI was FI)

      I went to the car show in Puyallup and I must say, I wasn't the best I have been to but I didn't get there till like 5pm and everyone was pretty much leaving.

      On my way back I was cruising on I-5 south (carpool lane) and I passed a newer Civic Si hatch. Looked pretty nice, all black, tinted windows, lowered, exhaust, white guy rolling with a hoody pulled over his head. We get on the express lanes and he was riding my ass pretty well, so I figured what the hell. I downshift to 3rd (I was at 65) and floor it, leaving him about 4 cars back.

      I get to where it opens up after the tunnel thing and he comes up beside me and just waits. I figure "what the hell, let's see what I can do against him" thinking he only had bolt on's. Once again I downshift to 3rd (from 65MPH) and go ............ I kept up pretty well (or so I thought) he unrolls his window and then downshifts and Then I hear it.............the BOV. Then he proceeds to put about 4 cars on me and I just give up. I caught up about 2 mi. later and he waved, as did I and I just went on my way.

      So much for thinking he was stock and I had a chance. Just figured I would share.

      1 WK Overland....

      Still miss the CB though......maybe one day.

        hmm b series or d...im guessing d16z6, would have had a better chance with an h (if it was one of those ugly newer ones don't feel too bad, those engines are the most lame of the k series and you would have a good chance against it stock)

            ew thats what i was wondering. those are the most "fail" out of the civics honda has made imo. 160hp/132tq and 7100 redline....barf. they also weigh around 2744. so yes good race for you stock lol.

                    Not really, I have already ran from my girlfriends Base model RSX. It does pretty well down low, but I just pull away in the mid/upper RPM (4.5-7K).

                        Surprised the hell out of me, she can handle that RSX fairly well. Those damn things also corner really well.Straight a ways I can run from her but she owns my ass on corners though. Thinking of grabbing some coilovers, any recomendations?

                          skunk2 full coilover setup.

                          got some jdm h22 pistons and free acl bearings yesterday from Richie GT35R. Installed lots of jdm lighting goodness last night on his car too. shit looks sexy.

                          now I'm out of money again(i gave him 30 for the pistons, all I had the rest of the week until friday). This friday when I get my check, I'm dropping off my pistons/rods to get the wrist pins pressed out and f22 rods pressed onto h22 pistons, and head to get worked on .

                          Car SHOULD be running in 2 weeks or so, again. Sooner if I can get at least 1 side job. We've also figured out how to use f22 arp head studs on h22's.

                          I'm going to clay everything before I buy a new hg. I really don't want to buy a thicker hg if I don't have to. The numbers I calculated say the pistons will stick out of the block quite a bit, but I'm just not sure if it will be enough to hit the valves. That's for stock cams anyways. I'm sure anything bigger WOULD hit with a stock hg.

                              They do full coil over setups. They're not as highly advertised and not many buy them becuase they're pretty fucking expensive. But their high end shit is awesome. Hell, the springs are awesome.

                                yeah they are decent, probably would take them over omni, megan etc...erikm had the springs and they rode great.
