I really need something with awd cause I will be going over the mountains for the next few years on a regular basis to visit my gf at school. The only reason I am putting the f22b in is cause it seemed like the cheaper route, but now I realize I should have just gotten the jdm f22a and called it a day but I will have fun with it while I still have it.
Dude you dont need AWD right now IMO.... just some dope snow tires (WITHOUT STUDS!!!) and some chains and your good to go. I took the coupe up to baker all the time with my snow tires and never even needed chains. Your even better off then i was with being a 4x4.... The only thing i have over you is being having a standard trans.
If i were you I would save the money that you would use to get a new car, drop a little of in an extra set of wheels and put some snowys on it. Save the rest when you have a steady job. Ill put money on it if you sell the accord, you'll regret it.

the newer metro really isn't a metro at all its a re badged carolla seeing how they were all made on the same line. I would consider one of those if I could find one that suits my taste some what. Meaning it needs ac and power options....

I know my car can get over the pass I did it the week the pass was closed for a while. Hell I barely made it up that fatty hill outside othello cause it was sooo icey. But yeah I just want a newer car if I can find one that is reliable and keep my accord I will.

Keep the Accord...There are ALOT of newer cars that arent even as reliable as a stock CB...I have gone to Snoqualmie pass on summer tires, in the snow. And been fine.
U probably need to learn how to drive in the snow. AWD cars get stuck just as much as everyone else...

Honestly I am just about fully confident with my accord in the snow.. I never really had a problem. I took it to snowboarding a couple of times and i got stuck once but I worked my way out of it lol.

yeah, i did pretty damn well with my accord in the crazy snow conditions this winter. I got stuck a few times, thats just cause my drive way is an incline and i didnt have my studs on then...coming down was fucking crazy, sliding backwards!

LOL I had 4, that's right FOUR vehicles (Accord, Comanche, Escape, Beetle) stuck in my level driveway this winter... even my gf's Escape AWD got high-centered. It was nice to take a day off of work when it was 0 degrees out.
