Well the 240 is(still)about to go to the body shop(waiting sucks)buddy talks me into taking it to go get the beer for the night(fri). So we get it started and warmed up i get up the the store get my bottle and case head up the the wal-mart to get the mixers. About the time i pull out this 92-95 lude kinda cuts me off in the parking lot wips back out on the street and start creeping in 1st looking to race me. From what i could see was catback,h22 stickers everywhere,lowerd,rims and sounded like it had an intake.So i creep out behind him knowing what he wants. leave it in 1st (mind you i have my buddy with me and some tiny girl 95lbs) in the back hes alone. In my mind i thinkin this is gonna be hard race.
1st race 15mph I pull 1/2 car on him by 65 and let off he sticks next to me keeps pushing for a 2nd race. 2nd race 30mph roll to about 80mph DEAD EVEN i had a nose on him when we started and same when we let off. 3rd race now we are up at the next stop light(mile from where we started)he reving the crap out of his car the hole light i see the other lights changing up know its about time for green stage up the car to 5500rpm getting ready to launch on him hard as i can. GREEN drop the clutch tire spinning..... from a dead stop to about 90 this time (road was wide open NOT a car in sight) had him by 2-3 cars. pulls up next to says yea you got me off the line,I ask if he want to try it again?? he just asked if it was turbo told him i was still rocking the NA ka baby. rools windows up and turns off.
Man i miss driving that car everyday. Cant wait till the accord can spank the ricers
