What's the Mugen intake system? edit[and active gate rotors, for that matter]

With that color white, you owe it to the car to wash it everyday.

Looks fantastic tho. Looking forward to seeing updates!

yeah i knew of the TL/TL-S TBs bolting right up... i thought the S2K TB tapered a bit, like the 03 one i had was 66 @ the opening and then tapered down to 62mm or so. wouldnt see why they would downgrade. i just found that it is able to bolt right up...but im still trying to find the exact inlet/@plate/outlet measurements....

not to mention the TL/TL-S TB ARE CHEAP!!!! employee they are about 165-170ish.... and im not gonna pay 450 employee for a new 06+S2K TB. LMAO especially when a 64mm TB gained 2whp way up top....

i guess id have to get my hands on one...or when one comes in the shop to get the measurements...

No problem. I think they are cheaper because between the K series and the J series, there are like a gazillion of them. Since they probably base spares production on total production, that might explain it.

It seems to me that pretty much most of Honda's TB's taper, so perhaps the TL-S tapers down to 64MM. I can see its need to breath beyond the S2K's.

You could send an email to either Jeff at TOV, or Shawn Church at Church Automotive. I bet one of those guys would know. Jeff was in charge of project Si I think.

the Taffeta White Si in 4dr is pretty rare, not so much in 2dr.

          Good choice!

It be hot if you can do the 2dr front bumper on the 4dr.

here are a couple pics of the Mugen parts you asked about. both items are expensive...but cant beat the quality/track proven research that is put into their products!

              thank you sir!

yeah the color was 80% because i personally liked it, and 20% because there just arent too many TW Si sedans on the road. ive seen ONE white COUPE si....but thats about it.

mentioning 2dr bumper on a 4dr...you know what would be EVEN BETTER, a JDM CTR front end conversion, or just a plain CDM CSX conversion. LOL but im not gonna go that far with this car. all the future plans i have are listeed....anything more will be minor things.

I was pretty impressed with the ride, wayyyy smoother than my old h22 cb and sean's too. Acceleration was also much smoother and I could tell the steering is very crisp. Drive by wire (steering and throttle) is pretty interesting. The hlsd is pretty sweet and the car sounds really good.

those SI's are some pretty balanced cars.

                    GL with your oil changes

The oil filters are a PITA to reach and the oil gets all over the place, you really got get in there to clean it off completely

We've had a good amount of si's come in that still had some oil leftover on the subframe from the previous tech that had done the oil change

Have fun, they are neat little machines

Everyone seems to complain about the over sensitive steering in the new Hondas. I could care less when you consider what you getting. Very nice ride.

                          Yo dood.

                          nice ride!

oh, a JDM front end would be hawt. the headlights are HIDs

                          good choice.

but its kinda sad to hear what happened to the CB.

I dont think its too heavy really, its really what..2950?? Could be the lack of midrange hp/tq from about 4500-6k rpm range. Honda detuned ECM is to blame for that! Thank god for hondata's reflash.

Car handles extremely well and feels pretty damn balanced for a typical Honda ff setup. Ive pushed it in corners and it does suprisingly well only a slight notice of understeer... But again typical.

Dbw has been quite interesting and takes some getting used to but once you get past that response is amazing. I agree with the over sensitive steering... Could be why the fd2 type r went back to a hydraulic power steering system ...

Overall I'm quite impressed with this car! Soo much potential and I hope to bring that out in the car....

                              Definetely a nice ride

                              Looking really sexy

Have fun with that K-series I love being behind a k-series. I have a k20a2. Pulls hard and pulls even harder when vtec kicks in. Mine has k-pro and I'll be getting the teg tuned soon. So I can finally have some numbers to go off of.

                              Good choice though!
