I cant download anything from ANY p2p program;torrents, limewire, bearshare...etc.

Ive always wanted to play this game, especially now that I have time to. But i could never seem to find a working patch.

Go to a used game store buy the game and get you a code of the net from the steam server. I think they did something new with the serials and shit.

no, I know people that actually have downloaded it with a patch. it works flawlessly. but i guess its hard to find.

blah, im not wasting my money on games, lol. never have, never will. I'd rather put it towards my car or grocery's.

I would LOVE to play, however, OS X isnt a supported OS. I even have a legal copy of the games (1.6, CS:S). oh well.

patched versions will work, but not on the official servers. when you buy the game you make a steam account and tie your cd key to that account. i download all my games from steam, no need to go shop for em unless you really need the cds lol.
