cell phone question?

ok i my mom has a treo 650 that she doesnt need anymore, so she said i could have it. the problem is that i need the phone to have sprint service and it was under cingular. i heard there was a way to "unlock" the phone so u can be used any service, anybody know how to do this

Can't be done, maybe if you were going from T-Mobile to Cingular/AT&T or something.... (SIM card handset --->SIM card handset) But in this case I think you're out of luck. I have a Blackberry, and in all honestly unless you HAVE to have regular access to email and an organizer it's not really worth carrying.

I got PPC 6700 with sprint, I bought the phone because it was cool and i liked the qwerty keypad....treo, blackberry, pocket PCs are not worth it really unless you'll on the web sending emails all the time.

p.s Oh, and to your ? It cant be done like maroon said above..
