Serial ATA hard drive installation... Help!

No dice. I don't have an option for SATA in my boot menu. I hooked up the EIDE drive as a master again, and it attempted to boot up... and failed during Windows setup yet again.
Maybe I'll just grab a USB conversion thingy for it I always wanted to convert an internal drive to an external. I think they're like $30.

What motherboard model do you have? I'm sure theres gotta be some way to boot from the SATA drive. Let me know and I'll find out.Retired 1990 Accord LX Coupe

From what the bios manual says it looks like you can go to the advanced bios menu, then under boot sequence and floppy setup. From there there should be several choices of what to boot from, hdd-0, cdrom, etc. Try setting the scsi drive first or one of the other hdd drives. Don't ask me why but some motherboards call sata drives scsi.Retired 1990 Accord LX Coupe
