Super nice car!

Question: How difficult was it to source the H22 engine in Holland? I'm going home to Indonesia at the end of this year, and I've got an E34 BMW 5er that I wanna stick an E39 540 engine (the 282 bhp double VANOS version), in, but everyone says getting Euro engines in Indonesia are like trying to get JDM engines in EU...

it wasn't verry difficult getting one... i only needed to wait and wait...........etc

getting BMW parts are would be as difficult as getting JDM parts in Japan............

i can get u a 3.2 liter M3 engine+tranny fo like $ 4500

no, he made a front camber kit. It was done by taking the upper control arms, and cutting them in half(between the mounting place and the ball joint) and then welding a piece in there to make them stick out farther. You also have to bang up your inner fender if you wanna do that. I am currently trying to design some steering knuckles that would have more of a bend at the top...so you wouldnt hit the fenders.

THE DIY CAMBERKIT

i bought 2 extra upper control arms and i weldet some pcs of metal to them to lenghten them and thus correcting my crappy camber....................... (their 10mm thick)

I actually calculated the thickness of the blocks using a angle meter (difficult and it takes some luck)

After the re allighnment the guiy told me that hte camber is set just right!!! (i was verry pleased to hear that)

Up to this time, the welds arent showing any cracks, so it's just fine.............

The pc-in car project is kinda on hold (lack of spare time)

i ordered a PC-remote controll and am planning to run win XP

Ill also am trying to get some engine info to display......
(current rev's highest revs..... highest speed etc) some wizz kid is doing this for me.....

This is kinda a when nothing else can be done to the car project... so it will take me some time to get everything finished

Upcomming mod's:

- Rust prevention.... yes also my cb7 is showing sighns of rust (though minor)
- full 60mm exhoust and 4-1 headder (it'll be made of 45 mm mandrell bent tubes (DIY of course)
- Koni's (riding on 4 blown shocks sucks)


I have yet to decide what to do next:

going all motor OR forced induction.............
i want to learn .............
