accordtypeR - h22 is running strong! i just need to fix this exhaust leak. i already have the aftermarket header that will replace the JDM unit. i just need to stop being lazy and fix it.

i just got some new wheels, steering wheel w/quick release, and headlights. the steering wheel and new wheels are on the car. stay tuned for a summer photoshoot!

timmy, we got the JDM downpipe bolted to karl's oem cat without any drilling... knock out the studs and bend the point corner of the cat back a slight bit, and use three new bolts and washers... they will be angled out a bit, but they hold it tight and the main parts of the flanges were flush against each other. figured id mention this in your thread because that little issue is something weve talked about.

swap looks great btw, clean and stock looking.

ah nice! i'm glad it worked for you guys. right now my exhaust leak got worse and when i tried to fix it i stripped out the bolts holding the downpipe to the header. i need to replace the header now. being rusted and heated really fused them together tight. i broke a stud too! at least i have a new header to put in. it won't look stock anymore .

Well the motor is doing fine. No plans for a swap or anything yet. I just dumped a bunch of money doing the clutch, t-belt/waterpump, etc. It will probably run forever. Who knows, I may end up doing an H22 swap someday. I plan on keeping this car and getting a newer 4 door.

I am hoping to get my fogs installed in the next week or so. I've got everything I need including an uncut factory harness! Paint will be on the agenda next. It's definitely time.

Hey, could you show me a pic of your corner lights? I'm curious to see what the JDM OEM corners look like.

here is a pic of the jdm corner lights. the whole jdm headlight assmebly is different too and will be for sale soon. headlight is H4 for lowbeam and H1 for highbeam and made out of glass! it's the only JDM headlight made of glass.

also i got a new header temporarily until i get the stock manifold repaired. the brand is ZR based in industry california which is very nearby and it is CARB legal like DC! i never heard of them but i got it for a great price! fitment was ok and the stainless finish is awsome. the header is now a gold color with no blue-ing. i still think the factory mani gives better power though. the runners and collector are bigger.

I haven't a clue how your car rolls with those wheels, but they look great. I never saw those on a car in Silver before...I'm used to white with the polished lip, but I must say I definitely like them.
