i did most of the rear, didnt touch the front yet. i mounted the knuckles & control arms. still need to do hubs/rotors/calipers/sway. im not going to redo the fender undercoating until i do the body, because some of it will need to be cut away for the rust anyway. when it comes time ill drop the entire rear susp. off and do the undercoating.

    heres some pictures:

put it together first, then lifted it on

haha thanks man. though yours looks fantastic, your pics made me do it they are actually a Prothane rear control arm bushing set... came with just the 8 for the control arm ends.

i got the rear all finished up tonight. put the hubs, rotors, calipers, lines, and sway on.

put a thin layer of anti-seize on the entire hub face as well as the studs.

debating whether or not i should paint the brackets red to match the calipers, or leave them black. and i totally forgot that the pads were going to be such a bright green color

        all put together

you can see the rear sway

            LOL! Good progress!

I am sure you will be more than satisfied with your pads.

I haven't found a set of Autozone pads yet that I like in terms of stopping power.

Don't worry, about the green backing. They should be covered in black grime and gunk in no time flat!

I hope you didn't use VHT high temp caliper paint on those, because if you did, expect them to start peeling.

High temp engine paint seems to work better.

Good luck and keep us posted.

put the majority of the front together tonight after work.

cleaned and gloss painted the accord front crossmember. i wont be using the prelude one, its too tight of a fit. this also allows me to use the three small screw holes that originally held the ABS pump to hold the MSD blaster coil, down on the crossmember.

i ordered a 10" slim fan a couple days ago and it should be here any day now. i will be ditching both stock fans and installing this 10" one on the front as a pusher, out of view.

still need to put the sway bar in as well as all 4 shocks and springs. tighten everything, bleed brakes, alignment, sway bar, msd setup, timing belt, misc other stuff.

                      heres some pics.

i installed a new radiator fan tonight

its a 10" slim fan reversed as a Pusher, mounted to the outside of the a/c condenser. i ditched both stock fans.

i figure civic guys have h22-t's being cooled by a half radiators with a single fan, and this one should push more air than the main stock one. plus with so much space with heatshields removed and stuff, i doubt the a/c compressor is going to ever get hot enough to need a fan blowing right at it.

                            hope it works :P

                            .................BEFORE........................... ...............................AFTER.............. ...........
                            ..

this is how it used to be.

                            installed!

using a deep socket on my slave cyl only puts the ratchet halfway between the engine and radiator... theres plenty of room! the stock fans hardly even give you enough room to get to the bleeder nipple...
...note that none of the black zipties are showing

p.s. i removed it to scrub and repaint it. salty winters =

thanks. without the a/c you could easily fit two 10" fans.

it was surprisingly cheap, i got it from b18bturbo on hondatech, heres his online store: http://www.vsracing.net/catalog/prod...roducts_id=339
