welp my coupes been salted!

still not done getting the sedan on the road :\

preferably tomorrow i would like to get this car WASHED and rinsed and parked for the winter.

plus, my ignitor is acting up worse than before. its always been going bad, and above 4 the tach progressively gets more broken up and crazy. my gas mileage has been getting worse, and its effect on how it runs is getting more noticable.

now that its freezing cold, in the morning it takes 8-9 attempts to get my car to stay started. itll start and start to idle, miss bad, and eventually just cut out completely.


PLUS, my Z-rated BFG's are hard as shit and have no tread. my car slides dry, if its cold... now WET and cold with snow build up is even worse. i could hardly navigate parking lots.







winter blows. especially without proper tires.

lol, thank you. yeah i need to clean it, but i cant bring myself to spend the time to do it knowing that im just going to be replacing the hood in the not TOO distant future... maybe if im bored sometime lol.

AHHH I CANT HELP IT!! if you buy everything bit by bit you dont even realize how much youre spending on it. its hit the point where its never worth selling, so keep modding! lol

its not that bad. just realize that ICE is hard to see and gives you 0 traction when youre on it. winter/good tires makes driving in every other condition a billion times better, like slushy rain and sleet and the packed down layer of snowice after the roads been plowed. you just have to be very careful during the winter. slow down a long time before turns, no harsh movements...

The first time you started up your car after you painted it. Like when you got it to Normal Operating Temp. was there some smoke coming from the motor? LIke from the paint heating up for the 1st time? I think its supposed to but im not sure, cuz mine did.

i washed the car today. after it had been salted, i had to wait for a day when the roads were dry outside (so i could drive home without re-salting) and it was warm enough not to freeze over. the rain last night rinsed off all the salt off the road. spent a while at the self-car wash spraying the entire underbody with high pressure soapy water. nice and clean, and its been parked for the winter for good.

youre going to get a lot of smoke and stink.

especially with that shiny aluminum paint.

you should be able to judge whats burning by the smell... it wont smell like straight coolant or oil, the paint and grease smell is a little different.

itll go away within a week!
