finished up prepping the knuckles and lower control arms:
- clamped-in the front lower balljoints
- bolted-in the bearings/hubs
- hammered-in the rear lower strut mount bushings
- pushed-in front LCA bushings
the large socket is a "1/2-ton 4 slot 4WD socket" from advance auto parts. it was the largest thing they had and it actually worked really well. i tapped the joint in until it was lined up, then clamped it through.
front knuckles are ready
rear lower strut mount bushings
front lower control arms
everything lined up. few more things to do before bolting it together.

i believe i have a set of the 92-93 10-spoke ones as well as a set of 90-91 12-spoke ones. itll be a little bit before i can collect them together and get the shitty tires pulled off of them, and do you really want them bad enough to pay for shipping for em?

The ones I'm thinking of look like they are 17 spoke. Essentially they are disks with a big center cap. (edit- OK...I see there are some very similar 12 spoke to what I'm thinking)
I'll PM you.Last edited by typhoon; 06-09-2007, 04:20 PM.

worked on the car friday night as well as last night.
i greased and installed the upper control arm anchors and balljoint camber kit (no pics)
i tied up some of the loose ends in the engine bay, i torqued the cams down, put the exhaust on, clear dizzy cap, and i decided how and where im going to mount the MSD box and coil (which i painted black) and where im going to route the wires. still need to do the timing belt and valve cover.
i put the radius rods & bushings into the lude crossmember and bolted it up. (no pics) its not a perfect fit, i had to make a few tweaks, and the bracket is still off by a little bit. the a/c bracket rested on the crossmember, so i hammered it down for room. plus it hit one of the corners of the radiator fan, which i trimmed off. i have a feeling a 5th gen accord front mount bracket would help, or i could just squeeze it in, but im probably going to go back to the stock front mount. also, the lude mount doesnt leave as much room to get to the slave cylinder bleeder it was worth a shot trying it out, as i already had all the parts laying around.
