    ACCLUDE91 : 1991 Accord EX (Wrecked)

Here's the car when I bought it:

    My 2nd Accord
    brown/gold 91 EX 2 dr. -H22 swapped ~wrecked

    Currently Done (before the accident)
    JDM H22A motor/tranny
    genera intake
Ractive header/downpipe wrapped with Thermotec header wrap
    free-flo cat.
    2.5" midpipe
Powertech Axleback straight through exhaust(4" tip or 2" tip w/ silencer)
    Custom P28 ECU
    Emissions disabled
    A/C system stripped
started to do body work (saved mouldings, emblems, pwr. antenna)
    95 EX alloy rims
    front & rear strut bars
    rear lower tie bar
    Pioneer CD deck
    Polk 5 1/4 fronts
    Infinity Kappa 6x9's rear
    and a few more things

    Future Plans
Since the Accident, I've been using the car for spare parts.
I'm going to use certain parts of the car as a template to follow on the race project. Between the stripped one and this one, I have enough laying around to be able to "toy" with certain parts and try a few things out before making any final decisions on the race project.

And here it is after I got my hands on it:

    And here's after the accident:

    RIP little buddy...

Ouch Pat! That sucks. Remember me from AccordRacing.com? heh, anyways who hit you? I saw you shaved your side moldings off.. did you fill them or weld them?

You finally got your H22A swap done and then you lose it.. it's so sad!

that sucks that it was so high... doesnt that defeat the purpose of a bumper?

Holy shit! you saved that pic and posted it for me! Thanks Mike!

Hey Rebels...of course I remember you. Hope your body work turned out alright on your 4th gen. Anyways, I welded plates in and then used bond to smooth it out. The rust repair took lots of fiberglass and then about 3 coats of bondo for to smooth them out. It needed about one or two more coats of bondo sanded smooth and it would have been ready to paint. Almost had it looking good as hell and then the accident happened and ruined all the plans for it. Shit happens

You see how badly the rear and side pillars are crunched in right? That's part of the uni-body frame and even if I were to cut out the damaged areas and re-weld them with new panels, it would never drive the same again. It would never have the same structural strenght. It's basically a parts car now and that's all its worth. It happened going about 5mph or so, the dudes bumper of his truck hit my car at about window level and took out everything from the pass. door all the way back. When he hit me, he freaked out and gassed it instead of breaking so the damage got worse as it went down the side. It sucks, but shit happens. I ended up working out alrght tho. It was a fun ass car to drive everyday so I'll miss it and the H22, but nothing will top the race project so maybe it's a good thing that my time and money aren't getting put into this one anymore.

Too late, I already swapped this interior into my new d. driver. I do have some parts that you need from the stripped one, but you wouldn't want some items cause they're prolly in worse condition than what you have now.
