i love the wheels! i think i might buy some new ones, maybe greyish, sports bronze color. im selling my wifes old 17s for 350 bucks, and then i can put that for a down payment, and get me a new set. and make her use these.. :P

              yes another f22b swap question

hi phat and 1st nice whip and and pics.

now i am considering the f22b swap but have somw questions. now i read the whole thread but still have some questions. okay i understand the distributor has to be from an a1..that the internal coil fine understood, even unstand the green sensor on the upper radiator hose by the thermostat has to be swapped. i have a 93 accord ex with the dual stage intake so that should fit right (f22a6)? also would the ex exhaust manifold fit. and i thought that the usdm have knock sensors, but not the jdms is this true and did you have to tap and make one? i have found sites like enginelandinc that have the motor for 550 and japanstar for 795 with tranny. how much heavier is this from the f22a and is is heavier than the h22 motors. sorry for all the questions, but waan know now before i get stuck with a motor i cant install...lol . so was there anything else i need to know to do the install.

my plans for the swap are to get the f22b and send the head out for gude head package. ( i know people have mixed reviews) i spoke with mike jackson from gude about this motor and he said they could probably get 40whp out of the head. which i guess is doable. so this would put the car close to the h22
stock and probably weighs less, so in my opinon it could be even. i would of course use aem dual cam gears and maybe some lightened pulleys. well thats what i would like to do. so what ya think. i would love to see a person with an h22 get spanked and have their jaw dropped when they see its an f22..lmao

you cant use all of the f22b distributor, you can only use the coil from the A1 cause its internal. your exhaust manifold will work, and so should the intake manifold.

how much is the headpackage gona cost? ive only heard bad things, and over priced. i dont think you can get 40 horsepower out of mild cams. and you are probably gona be spending some ucko bucks. i would rather have my h22 than spend over 1k on head components..

                Just my thought though.

damn your kit is killing it for me, sorry. nice work and time.
you need some tint. it would make the kit look better and your dark wheels wont fit good unless you tie in your moldings.
