Today in North NJ it was 50 degrees outside So I got down and dirty to install my rear disc on this car.

pic of before I started work

A pic of the front since I am also doing ROH and vtec rotors/calipers soon

Cars on all jack stands since the ebrake cables need to be installed.

Here is the work area and the drums off.

I put the hub and wheel on to make like the car is driveable
If not I get in trouble with my town lol

Here I just put the jack stands all together since the people on the street wont see this side.

I am not done with the project. I am waiting on my SS brake lines but everything else will be put on when it gets nice out again.

I dont have my coupe running either but I am using Juan aka tonymontana's ride since he is out of state.

That was pretty quick for being done all in one day with hand tools! mines took like 12hrs total since i couldn't seperate the rear knuckles from the lower control arms.

So what kind of rear rotors you going with ?

My Cb bad, Cb bright and the cops can kiss my Cb lights - I’m gone!

When the paterson boys came to get my rear disc out of the parts car we got everything out in like 40mins.
LOL Thats because we were using the Snap-On electric gun.

But remember that shit wasnt working for us that one time?

HAHA This is something i would never attempt by myself with just hand tools.
I needz a lift, latex gloves and power toolz in my life

PowerSlot Rotors and hawk HPS Pads for all 4 corners.. All that should be a nice setup

                Hand tools or bust!

Still not done just gunna wait for the SS lines put another coat of red paint on the rear calipers and brackets.

You better get those rear knuckles separated so I can give you the ex rear crossmember lol

I got my latex gloves then my mechanic gloves on top. But when it comes to tight spots I get my hands dirty lol.

Thanks man! When the car is under the sun and recently waxed, then the color is amazing!

love the new pics mauri, its interesting to see a rear wheel bolted on with no rotor behind it... reminds me of the times in the past working on cbs at your house...

juans car looks pretty good, probably a cool DD to have. when you plan to get this put back together? the caliper picture you sent me looks really good

got some new pictures and updates from doing the rest of the rear disc conversion.

here is my progress rear sway bar. Its really hard to drill when I am lying down on the floor. Gunna do the drilling of the rear crossmember when its on the lift for the alignment.

here is the rear pass side rear hub and extended arp studs installed braking pressure is provided with the Techna-fit SS brake lines.

here is the rear driver side rear hub with the same stuff added.

here is the work station with some tools and parts

                      here some more parts

here is the rear pass side rear disc complete

The driver side rear disc, I did not take pictures of nor did I take pictures of installing the 40/40 Prop Valve.

I still need to put the Russel Speed Bleeders on and pin locks for the ebrake to the caliper.

ROH conversion coming up next time I have time and its nice out.

Yesterday I did some more work.

Here is the front driver side getting done.

here is the front pass side

The car is basically done. I just have to bench bleed the Brake Master Cylinder then bleed all 4 corners.

Then off to get an alignment!

Finally I can drive her again, I have been going through some withdraw lol

I wouldn't recommend driving on those tires in the cold weather Maruy.

                            They're summer only compound.
