How did you like the reba?

My dobermann had some serious scratches so I did it up with some R78P to match my car.

oh man, loved that Reba! (i think a year later it was renamed the Recon? and the reba became even better!)

BTW, that bike (the iron horse) was stolen over 2 years ago now!

still on the fence. i've been looking at other cars trying to figure out what I want to do. I've been cruising Craigslist looking at civics (hx's and ex's), first gen CL's, and accords....... there is a nice looking CL in Amherst, NH, 5speed with only 98k miles..... I dunno. The amount of money I would have tied up in my CB7 to fix it up to my liking I could get another car.....

I may just sell my car to someone on here if anyone wanted to buy it........

my concern is I would start the swap and never get it done. Anyone wanna come to my house and help do the swap?

on how to put it on the car?
use two people. The first time putting the rack together build it on the car (though put the fit kit, towers, and bars together on the ground first). Then when it comes time to take it off just loosen the feet and remove the rack whole.

how to build/ piece one together?
get the right size bars, towers, fit kit, lock kit and whichever accessories you would like (bike racks, kayak racks, luggage rack, ski rack, fishing pole rack, etc)

where to buy pieces?
I bought most of my pieces from:

with all of the accessories I have (3 bike trays, 3 bike wheel holders, kayak J bars, roof box) I probably have $800+ tied up in the rack.... another fit kit would cost about $50 when i go to switch to another car.

your car is awesome, as far as people asking you to lower it,
that would ruin the full montain biking experience, and you would have to deal with problems.

as far as the swap:
your only 8 hours from me, hahaha! thats a drive, but depending on when your doing it,
maybe I can convince some other members to come with and help out on your swap!
