So the smoked taillights are not sprayed?? It's a 3M film? I was wondering how you have them smoked and shiny like that at the same time.

yep 17 mil thick 3M sticky film, it just goes on the taillight like a sticker. So far its waterproof, weatherproof, everything, i can even wax it w/ this ICE car polish I've got.

na fogs are from a 94 Lexus ES300...total cost for them $14! Yeah it was a BEAUTIFUL day today so I had to go snap some shots

The wire is the power cord. I've got an Escort Passport 8500 detector, you probably have a wireless one? yeah basically that plugs into the cigarette lighter and to the detector.

Back in November of 2006, when I had my tint done, I asked the owner about what he put over his lights that made them look so freakin awesome, and he showed me this 3M stuff on a roll. I believe he said that it lets %70 of the light through and blocks like %30. It goes on like a sticker, I watched the guy do it, he just overlaid some on the tailight and used an X-Acto to trim the rest off. It pretty thick stuff too, but its been on there for over a year and looks like the day he put it on. I paid him a 100 bucks to do it though, so it's pretty pricy.

Oh HAHA, yeah I like that sticker too! I was kinda hesistant on putting it on at first, b/c I wanted the clean look, but then after he pressured me to do it I love it! It makes it look meaner I think. He works for this VW tuning shop called EUROJET, and has access to a vinyl decal maker that can cut out unimaginable designs and shapes. That star is the company logo, so in a way my car is EURO, lol.

As for the Fogs, they're from a Lexus ES 300, I had to kinda sand the original bracket away, but it fits perfectly in that area in the bumper after you cut a few tabs away to recess it better.

That Scion is Turbo'd too, 240whp about, and AUTO lol. It's pretty damn fast, would prob. kill an H22 for breakfast unfortunately. I believe he spent 5K on that setup. So he's a rich Newport Harbor kid.
