got lots of new stuff to show, just finishing it up now

those of you that have been reading my threads know what ive been adding..you wont recognize my front end after this

ok a breakthrough occured today:

its been since last july, but the car has been started up tonight

and man, did it smell when the headers discolored right before my eyes, burning off that generic cermaic looking paint.

but the obx sounds nice, no rasp until high rpms

speaking of which

my tach and temp gauges..and prolly none of the gauges work

anyone know why they might not work?? and certain fuse or something??

another thing, when i trun on the lights the car dies down like im stealing the power from it..im thinking it could be my altenator but im not sure...key still wont come out and it will not shift out of park

now im hoping most of these problems are from the car not used to running. myabe once i start it up and let it run everyday, itll work itself out

got alot of new stuff to show you guys, just waiting till im ready to reveal it with the pics. all in all, the left side is done and its on the to the right side of the car. all while reupholstering my interior

any feedback and/os advice on my temp problems would be appreciated

My 4dr didnt run or move for one year and 2 months and everything worked fine after playin with it.But hope you have some nice wheels too put on so you can see all that work that you did! Good job!

a quick update::

i started the car up a few times toda and let it run and all that jazz

checked my fuses too..foudn out teh meter fuse was blown...replaced it and now the tach works...my idle appears to be fine, too

after the third time i started it, the temp gauge works now...it shifts out of park, but then D4 started flashing and im throwing a cel...gotta check to see what it is though.

wow, has it been a while since ive been on. i moved to rock hill, and with the holidays and all, i couldnt do any work on the car.

i just moved it to good spot in the drive way and this week i am about to start up working on the passenger side.

no news on progress, really...i received a prestige car alarm for christmas, but thats about all that has changed.

i do have a recent picture of the car. though.

first time ive seen the pictures of your new suspension setup. great work, thats what i plan on doing to mine this summer. those new fender liners? either way, looks like i need to get a new set, since they look great. its a great feeling when youre done, you know that that area of your car is entirely fresh and new.
