    headgasket job pics

    my headgasket blew last sunday night, so me and mayberry ran to autozone picked up a bunch of stuff and started working on it around 10... got it done early monday morning. thanks to eric cuz i wouldnt have been able to finish it myself so quickly if i was alone and thanks to doctorcipher for lending a hand, to he had to leave early to go to work monday morning (i called out)

    still had everything attached to it, swapped intake mani/wiring over to the new head on the garage floor before installing the new one as a whole

          mike who has the garage? Crazyness. How did you get those head bolts out? I tryed on my old engine and i couldnt get them out with handtools

            shop where mayberry worked. outstanding place to work on your car at, i got spoiled and it sucks working at home with jackstands and hand tools again...

            and the head bolts came out with a breaker bar, nothing special.

                            man my headgasket is pretty much gone..its been leaking for about 6 years lol from the rear end on one corner...but i never got any mixture of any sort, i guess ill look into this sooner or later.
                            What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

                            You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

                              hey why do the piston head look all black??? is it because of not enough light?

                              and a good way to take off the head bolts is to have a long pipe and thats it.
