Found some pics of my first car..

Hehe I was cleaning up my comp. and found some old pics of my first car...Have nothin else to do, so I thought I'd post 'em here and share with you guys..hehehe..

It's an '89 Prelude, and it wasn't really in a perfect shape...Ya know, rust, bent up chassis and stuff like that (not from me of course...hehe) it was an awesome car, I swapped a JDM B20A, custom CAI (which caused the death of my engine), H&R Race, CF hood (Yes, that is a CF hood, not just a stock hood painted black..Hehe) stripped interior and other unnecessary things like power steering, A/C, spare tire & jack, cruise control, blah blah blah...I remember the car only weighed 2298lbs with me in it....It was awesome, I could take corners on and off ramps goin 100-120km/h, and the car wouldn't lean or slide...Even on highways, you could bring it up to 220km/h in no time, and the car was so stable it's unreal...

But things got a bit nasty, and before I know it, I've blown 3 JDM engines in 6 months....I went to the wrong place to buy the engine in the first place..So I had to sell the car for dirt cheap.. Good times...hehehe I learned lots of things with this car, including how to change a headgasket by myself and bunch of other stuff....There was always a new problem that came up at least once a month..Hahaha lesson is: never buy an old import sports car...

Anyways, here's some pics...Forgive me if I'm not supposed to start this thread on Image Gallery...Mods, if this is considered off-topic, plz move my thread..Thx!

Not neccessarily (sp?) if you can find a woman in her mid 30s or 40s with a old School lude you'd be in Lude heaven. Ive seen women with those cars and man they take care of them like no ones business.

I could never get into the styling of the old preludes, or any accord older than a 4g for that matter. It's clean, just not my car of choice

My buddy was really into the 88-89 ludes. After he sold black beauty(91 cb7 coupe) he picked up a red 89. Boy did he beat the shit out of that! lol

                    IIRC, it did have 4WS.

                      They are, minus the posts.

Pretty much all 86-93 Accord, 88-91 Prelude and 90-93 Integra spoilers are interchangable. I have j-yard tested the theory.

What happened with the CAI that caused the demise of your engine? An old girlfriend of mine had a 91 2.0si with the aws. It was an awsome car even though i thought it ws ugly as shit. I wish honda would have been kind enough to add AWS to our american CB7's.
