should i adjust my fast idle valve even though it's new?

i just recently replaced my fast idle valve and the surging idle at low rpms and highway speeds will sometimes persist. i read that the screw thingy inside the fast idle valve can be tightened or loosened, should i mess with it? it's brand new from the dealership

I wouldnt its usually adjusted to factory specs. there might be something else causing the problem.
    I need a 14b or 16g turbo!

technically they are not adjustable, they come preadjusted from the dealer. so no. check for vacuum leaks elsewhere.

my mechanic already checked for me and said there are no vaccum leaks present
but my car seems to idle low...like 500
and my mechanic said that the screw thing is maxed, can it be reset?
