Ive tried three tcu's they wont let me shift out of park is there something that i need to be doing?

I can press the shift engage button on the shifter to shift it out of part and it will go to all gears but once i go back to park it wont come back out.

I have three of the tcu's they all do the same thing. but when i go back to my stock everything works fine...

Yes. it does. Any other things to be i have three of them i don think the tcus are bad i have three of them.

the JDM TCUs dont properly unlock the shift lock solenoid... couple minor wiring changes to make it work, the information is floating around out there. many ppl just ziptie the lock down, or wire it to the brake pedal. but no this does not mean the TCUs are bad.

it would stay in park, unless you moved it otherwise its like semi-permanently jamming a key into the 'shift lock release'
