Painting intercooler

Just wondering if painting an intercooler black will affect any of the performance? Just wondering if it would decrease the air flow or anything. Thanks

Its perfectly fine to paint it black, Its just the first layer of fins thats getting paint anyway.

Cool, good to know. I know that anodizing might be a better option, but it's easier for me to have it painted

they sell cans of black Radiator paint, its supposedly a thinner coat that doesnt clog up the fins... but either way yeah i dont see a problem with that.
