    major repair or small repair?

    I woke up this morning to go to this job I applied for, started my car and it shut down about 3 times. I tried to give it gas when it started to idle below 1000 rpm. It started shaking and completely shut down. What could be causing this?

    well its either ignition of fuel related, it could be small or it could be big. Your gonna have to trouble shoot

        do you have any gas in the vehicle??

        184 whp and 149 ft. lb. torque f20b stock now......

          yeah, there is gas in it. It's near E, but not for another 10 miles. I can't even move it to the gas station anyway.

            I'm not sure, but maybe that can be the issue. I have fixed a few honda's with similar problems like yours. trust me, I spent hours on this civic one day and theres power going to fuel pump, good spark, good compression, adjusted valves and it ended up having no gas in car.

              yep, ive had cars running fine with low (but not empty) gas, and it would KINDA start a couple times in the morning, then stopped for good. even without the light coming on.

              you could try starting it with the back of the car raised, if you have a jack...

                ya dude add some gas i say. one time i drove around with the gas light on, i went to school with the light on, no hesitation at all, like normal. I get outta school, and car wont start. Add a gallon of gas, and report back.

                  this kind of thing occured to me when i didn't know it was this thing called the "main relay"..something related to sending fuel from the fuel tank.

                  *Needs*
                  -New shocks
                  -Struts
                  -Drop
                  -Cleaning
                  -New Tires/Wheels
                  -New Window Tint
                  -Alot more lovin'
