I've heard that you can use the axles of a Prelude for your manual Accord because they are the same? Does anybody know which generation Prelude? Year, model?

My local Honda tuner told me this, because the Prelude is based on the Accord.

nope. its similar to the accord and many parts are swappable, but it is not based off of the accord. just as civics and tegs are similar and swappable, but not the same platform.
the preludes are all wider, so all of the axles are too long.
