    HELP! Clutch pedal doesn't decompress!!

Alright, so me and my buddy are driving home tonight after picking up some grub, and my friend tells me that the clutch won't decompress. So we pull over, park the car and lock it, bum a ride from a friend, and I just got back home.

Does anyone know what the problem could be? It feels like the spring is gone since the pedal won't decompress. Your help is much appreciated.

decompress? meaning lose pressure? or the pedal doesnt pop back up. did you look to see if the return spring came off the side of the pedal?

It doesn't come back up. It happened at about 1AM and I didn't have a flashlight, so when we tow her back tomorrow I'll check on that.

^^^^x2. Check especially around the seal in the driver,s side fire wall. Check it while you are checking for the spring.

Sounds like a leak in the clutch system. First check your fluid level in the reservoir. If its low then chances are you have a leak. Second, trace the clutch lines until you spot moist lines/hoses. Same thing happened to me and it turns out it was the clutch hose. It leaks from the metal fitting that connects to the rubber hose. Cost about $25 from the dealer.

              ...adjust accordingly

                It was a clutch stab.
