Aircraft stripper on wheels and glass???

I wanna take the black paint off my wheels and headlights. Would aircraft stripper disintegrate everything, or would it be safe to use?

id assume it would be fine on glass, and of course it would be fine on wheels.. itll just take the stock clearcoat off with it.

read the back of the can?

...on the wheels the stripper is fine. Can't remember if lights are glass or plastic. Glass I assume would be ok, not sure, plastic, no.

The wheels can be a pain in the ass to take paint off of especially inbetween the spokes. Depending on how many coats and how well you prepped the rim, how clean it comes out will vary.

If it were me, I would use a nice high quality acetone.

It should wipe the paint right off, without doing any damage.

I am sure the wheels are thicker though, so it might take more effort. Maybe wipe it on and let it sit to break up the paint.

Nothing on the back besides 'do not drink or bathe with this solvent'

What about rubber? If I got a spray can and removed my wheels from my car, could I just spray it and scrub it off?

no go on rubber! hard, non-porous surfaces only!
