    maintenance light

    well im not sure what accords all came equipt with the little maintanace thing which goes from green to yellow to red,

    well anyways mine has just rolled over to red, im just wondering what i should maybe get checked up on the car,

    i already go for regular oil changes, but ya anyways what else would be a good doing?!

    oem manual should have the full maintenance schedule in it.

      Its just a reminder light that comes on with mileage, just press your key into the slot and reset the light.

        i know how to reset, but im jsut wondering iv watched it roll through all colors? so what should i maybe do maintanace wise to keep her in good shape?

          do you have the oem booklet that came with the car, or a repair manual?

            you should really base your maintenace off your mileage and not that little wheel. it really depends since that wheel is mainly a reminder that is based off the mileage anyway, if that makes sense at all . what's your mileage now and we'll tell you what needs to be done.

            i believe that wheel goes to red every 7000miles where you need an oil change, but i change mine every 3000miles or 3 months whichever comes first. so that wheel doesn't do me any good.

              interesting fact i swapped my gauges this weekend (gas + temp dead) and i noticed the 90 lx doesnt have the maintenance counter and the connections are different for the plugs.

                im currently at 253,480 but she runs VERRRRY well .no leaks around headgasket or anywhere else. auto tranny runs smooth, no grindes or high revs.
