Honda OEM wheel locks, easily defeated?

Are the wheel locks so common that the bad guys have the unlocking tool? It seems that the "key" tool is the same for all the wheel stud nuts that are the "locks". They all look like a flower form. Every ad I have seen for the wheel locks, show the same flower form. Is this fact, or just the same ad, over and over again?

i believe the little flower differed. while ive never payed attention to their details, they arent a perfectly even flower, they are lopsided with some loops bigger than others. i could only assume that they would at least change that, or it would be entirely pointless...

i believe the OEM are pretty good besides looking uneven. they should provide you with ample protection. if you still aren't convinced you can always double up!

mine stick out pretty far so anyone with large vice grips could probably take it off *shrugs*

they should be fine. i believe the oem's are mcgard. and alot of them do look the same, but it only takes a slight variance for the key to not work with another.

wheel locks can be beat very easily, my buddy locks his key, so all we did was put in a socket a little smaller the lock and what u no we turn it off.

I have the oem ones but i need another set now because i got diff size studs up front...so i can only use them in the rear. I want to invest in some splinedrives.

As mentioned. You can always use more than one kind.

                  ...adjust accordingly

Thanks, guys. I think I need some for the Honda OEM alloy wheels. They need to be the flat surface nut, and not the cone surface nut, is that correct?
