on the upper part of the clutch pedal, where it presses the rod into the clutch cylinder on the firewall, there is a nut/locknut that you can adjust.

How much can you shorten it by? Has anyone measured or tested how far back we can adjust the clutch pedal? Thanks.

You think it is possible to go too far and make it so the slave is always pushing on the release fork?

                  old thread i know.

will this adjustment according to the picture, will it effect the softness/stiffness of the clutch pedal. i know CBs use hydraulic.

the reason i ask is because i would like my pedal to be more soft, and i am not sure if i can do anything about this though. not sure if a new stage# clutch would help soften the clutch.

                  any help appreciated.

no it really doesnt affect the soft/stiffness of the feel... it only changes how far in/out the clutch gets moved based on how far you press the pedal.

for a softer clutch, i would say youd probably need a lighter pressure plate for the clutch, which its typically considered to be a downgrade...
