    How much does a tranny weigh?

    Im looking for the estimate weight of a 5 speed tranny. Just the trany.

    If anyone knows please let me know

    and the dimentions of it

    i don't know... but without a doubt over 50 pounds... i hate carrying those things..

        91accord4door and I pulled a D16 5 spd tranny for his 5 spd swap, we pulled the tranny out and I carried it to the truck, wasn't all that bad. I'll guess somewhere around 60-65 lbs. Dimensions you could prob get from looking at your trans. Auto is going to weigh alittle bit more too.

          Manual F22 trannies weigh 95 lbs. (Yes I really DO weight everything)!

          It wouldn't be surprising to find that the H series weighs a bit more, but I am sure it is negligible except in the LSD version.

          EDIT** That 95 included the slave cylinder and and shift cable bracket. Nothing else.
