ok im not sure whether my car is backfiring or misfiring or both. how can i tell? i think its misfiring at idle.

wow, this brings back memories of my 89 pontiac firebird formula I had.
It would backfire like crazy if i put it in first and flooored it and let of the gas. Good times that summer at the beach haha =)
