Did you test if your clutch is slipping?

Did one of your springs come loose?

Did you recently change your tranny fluid?

Does it only do it on cold mornings?

When the noise starts, does depressing the clutch stop it or does it keep going? And if it keeps going, does it stop only when you come to a complete stop (no matter what gear (including neutral)or if clutch is engaged/disengaged)?

put in first, rev it up, pop the clutch, and if tires spin/burnout, its prolly not your clutch.

the exact same thing happened to me, as long as im understanding you correctly... it wasnt so much of a metal grinding like a train stopping, sounds more like brakes... idk. i ended up swapping an h22 and it fixed the problem... wish i could help you out... im gonna take a look at my old f22 clutch to see if it was in fact worn down too far. ill let u know.

The reason I asked is because sometimes the wrong fluid can be put in and cause problems.

Sometimes a spring can become loose and give a skreech. I think this could be a possibility.

No, that's happy juice for Honda

I still think a spring popped or your pressure plate is shot

                  Good luck.

really,i didnt think that because would i feel it in shifting or something? i mean its only when i take off in first that it makes that noise, and it only happens sometimes.
