    tranny differences.

im going to have 2 5-spd trannys to choose from. either one is getting XTD stage1 clutch and 12lb flywheel on my new F22B motor. one tranny was attached to an F22A6 on my wagon and had almost 238,XXX miles on with no grinds at all. the other tranny is 5-spd too and it came with my new coupe that has an F22A4. it has 211,XXX miles on it and seems to shift smooth too. is there any differences between the two or are they the same for all F-series motors.

          Here's some of them:

There's only 2 final drive ratios in all our available trannies. The better one coming with the better engines. I never heard of the EX model having slightly different gears until Cisco posted it. It seems weird though that the EX would have lower 3rd 4th & 5th gears.

the reason why was because of the performance for the ex. THey had al little more power, and so they shortend the gears to help the car a lil.
