    need simple help rewiring fogs

Well my car failed inspection because my foglights do not turn off with my highbeams going on. Whats the easiest way to fix this problem so they'll work for the inspection?

how are your fogs currently wired? knowing nothing about your set up heres what i would suggest:
using a relay run the 12v signal with high beams on to pin 85, cut the 12v wire leading to your fogs in half, connect the switch side to pin 30 and the side leading to the fogs to 87 and ground pin 86. this way when you hit the highs it should turn em off

Take the fog light bulbs out before going to inspection. Fogs were optional, if they do not work at all, then the worry about them being on with high beams is gone. Just say you put the housings on for looks.
