Wiring some fogs . . . wiring help?!?!?

hey fellas, i finally got the chance to wire up my fogs, but the provided instructions suck major.

to what knowledge i have, the red cable goes the the battery, but im not sure which post . . .

also i have like 2 or 3 of these black cables which i think are grounds, if i am right where is a good place to ground in the motor . . .

PS i am a newb under the hood and with wiring so please post rational replies and don't flame

usually the red would go to the pos. terminal on the batt. and the grounds can just ground to the frame...just make sure they'll make good contact.

the red ring connector goes to the positive terminal of the battery, if you take the 10mm nut off of the battery terminal, you can slide the ring on and put the nut back on. as for the black ground, it needs to be connected to the metal chassis of the car. theres multiple 10mm bolts all over the engine bay, any of them will work as long as they provide a connection to bare metal of the frame. you may need to sand a bit of paint away from underneath a 10mm bolt before putting the black wire onto it, so it gets connection.

It is not difficult. I put some on, I ran the power and ground wires to the switch I installed inside on the console near the parking brake. Then I grounded it right there under some bolt I took off the shifter assembly, and scaped some pait off to bare metal. Then I ran the positive wire out into the engine above the ECU to the positive battery terminal, stuck a ring connnector on the end of the wire, then put it on the battery terminal.
