    alternator belt tensioner repair(i guess)

the back bolt to the tensioner on the alternator belt tensioner in my car came out. i went to honda and ordered the parts and theyll be here on thursday. anyone ever replaced this stuff? do you have to remove the power steering pump and stuff to get to it to replace it? if so then ill prolly justy take it to a shop to have it fixed because i dont feel like messing with the power steering fluid going everywhere.

you can disassemble and reassemble the tensioners without removing (or moving) the pump or alternator.

Ps fluid wont go everywhere, just make sure to plug the holes up. Just thank god we dont have our alternators behind the engines like the B series do...

ok i got that parts in, but u guys must have extremely small hands because i cant get the damn bolt to go through the hole at all because i cant reach it or see it. im either gonna have to take out the ps pump and alternator or take it to a shop. this shit is retarded, i hate it wen little things have to be repaired and there hard as hell to get to.

lol i know what you mean. Yes its doable without removing everything but if you must just remove the PS and you should have enough room. You dont have to take it apart just unbolt it and move it aside and bam!!! you got room. But shouldnt be hard pretty easy overall.
