    Car Won't Move!

Alrite, don't lose your mind at me if this was covered before. I read the forum a lot, never heard of this problem, and it seems pretty different to me. I'm stumped.

My car was running fine earlier. My buddy went to take a run to the store, it started fine, but when you start to go it stalls out and dies. He started it up again, and it started, but then the idle went really low, and when he tried to go again it died again.

I have no idea what could be wrong.

I just went and gave it a try myself. It seems to be acting sort of like it would if it was out of gas. Rolls over and almost starts, then dies down sorta thing. There is gas in it though. Maybe the fuel pump?

sounds like you ran out of gas

edit: you posted the second time before i got this one in.

could be clogged fuel filter or dying fuel pump. how many miles on the car? do u hear the fuel pump run when you turn the key to Ignition ?

It could be your fuel filter, fuel pump, or any type of fuel problem. THis is kinda dumb, but are you sure your Fuel gauge is working correctly? It could be a world of problems. But that's where you can start

Haha, I don't have a fuel gauge. I just assume there must be gas in there going by the amount of KM's since my last fill up.

Go get some gas dude. lol!
Also make sure that it's on a level surface. For some reason I will have about 2 gallon of gas left, but when downhill I can't get my car to start unless I am level.

Haha, that likely is the problem. Sorry for even posting guys. When I first posted I was just going by what my buddy told me, when I went to try it myself the first thing I thought was "this is acting just like it does when I run out of gas".

Soo, since were on the subject, my car gives no clue that it's going to run out of gas soon. Like on old cars I'd get like 50 KM's of sputters before I'd run out. This thing runs fine, then bammo. No Start. Is it the same way for you other CB7 owners?

When I got a different gas tank installed, the guys at the garage didn't hook up the sending unit right I guess.

                    Fix the Fuel Sender.
