Would these mod's be worth the end price?

Listen I don't want any stupid remarks from people. but here it goes.

Ive wanted and HID kit for the longest time and i sent out the money for that. My brakes have been making funny noises like grinding while driving. IMO they have never been changed since the car was new. (missing rotor etc).

I have 1g. and I listed all this for this

DoctorCipher is willing to help me install the clutch, TB, and Cam if i get it.

    These are all OEM parts

    Timming belt parts
    WATER PUMP $46.88
    GASKET, WATER PUMP $2.19
    RUBBER $1.67
    BELT, TIMING $33.13
    BELT $31.57

XTD Stage 2 Clutch 163$ shipped
    HIDS 260$ Shipped
    Brakes- Rotor over hub conversion
    BEARING ASSY $87.04
Brembo Blanks/w hawks pads $145.00 Shipped
    cl hubs $112.00

    So a easy breakdown is

    Timming belt Supplys 120.00
    Clutch 163.00
    HIDS 260.00
    Brakes Front 344.00

    Totall for All listed 889.00

ahh the brakes are a killer. HID is already bought. What should I buy next on the list? I know people will say maintence first or whatever. So im sure you will say brakes. Then id have to go somewhere for them to pop it off so its going to be more then 344$ and sigh. You never can win eh.

What do you think? Or what else should I do? Again Im not broke anymore so yeah.

wayne i talked to justin, im also willing to help out. if the two of you wanna meet at my house i have a garage and the tools, we can take care of it here

timing belt and clutch are definately cost worthy, HIDs and rotor over hub arent necessary at all, just nice... its up to you if you want to spend the $600 on them...

For the brakes, what rotor/pad are you getting? I mean are you getting CL, Accord cb7, Accord v6, Prelude rotor/pads? I know with the CL hubs you can use any of them. For the timing belt parts, you should change all the seals while you are in there and install a seal retainer clip that mr.honda spoke about in a thread called URGENT: SAVE YOUR CB7's LIFE

        Found it, right here
        http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=16228

And why do u need a new TB? What's wrong with your current one, or are u just getting it bored? And the Cam I guess you are getting a regrind?

And for the brakes, can't you pop off the old hubs yourself and install the new ones w/ new bearings? You made a DIY on popping off the hubs before.

197... yes i did but that was for the REARS the fronts suck

The brakes im getting the brembo blank fronts for now and hawk pads from buybrakes.
as for seals. What seals do I need?

I want to get my TB bored. everything i listed for the engine is all i wanna do to my f22. Then i wanna get it tuned when i get the Cam in.

So you are buying back CB7 rotors/pads? Not getting a bigger one like the Accord V6 or CL ones huh.

sounds like a good list of parts so far Wayne...since you already bought the HID's, i would get the brakes, since those are always important to get done, otherwise you might not have a cb to drive...

then i would do clutch, and the other stuff you listed...

                best of luck

                hit me up on aim.

theres no real seals listed in that picture besides #30, the camshaft seal... which never hurts to install while youre there...

each CL hub are about 90 dollars a piece, each bearing can be had easly for 50 dollars a piece, check http://www.rockauto.com/ for bearings you CANT get the hubs from anywhere else BUT ACURA, i ssugst getting 2 knuckles from some yard for like 50-90 bucks a piece.

second you need the rotors from a CL, PRELUDE vtec anything that has the rotor over hub design, you cant use your 90-93 rotors. Then you are also gona need calipers from a lude/cl anything but the cb7 calipers because they wont fit over the rotor. (if i remember right)

Lastly i highly recommend getting an exedy organic clutch

I also recommend just getting napa organic brakes, your not racing or anything so why spend so much on brakes? thats what i did.

What i noticed about you is that you like to buy alot of things and then things dont get done, Do your timing belt stuff first and wait to do everything else UNLESS your brakes and clutch are really bad.

pick one task at atime, make sure you get the right parts and do it right, then move on.

Yeah now i can brake hellla better but the rotors are crap. I had honda OEM brake pads too LOL

look for parts, in each section, the graphic for that portion of the car comes up.
