F22 Tranny Gears into an H22 LSD Tranny?

i have an h22 with the lsd tranny. i was wondering if the five speed accord sedan gears will fit into the h22 case. i want the gearing from the accord for boost reasons. any help would be greatly appreciated.

yeah it should as there the same tranny. But why not just add lsd to an accord tranny and be done with it?

tranny casing is slightly different. one guy a while back attempted to put the f22 5th gear into the h22 casing (which they were different, so dont expect to just "swap" gearing) but he never got it working reliably. he had pictures and everything but i couldnt even imagine where they are, it was years ago.

sell that lsd h22 tranny (they are worth a bit) and buy an LSD for your F22 tranny.

what rpm's are you running on the interstate. i do a lot of interstate driving. i had an h23 in my civic h/b a few years back and at 80 i was running about 4000. that killed my gas. i know turbo/gas mileage don't really go hand in hand, which as long as you stay out of boost you can still get decent mileage, but i don't want to kill my motor by running the rpm's so high all the time. i have riden in wagalude's car when he had the h22 tranny and he was running about 4000 at 80. he has since put the wagon tranny back in and he is running about 3300-3500 i believe and it still pulls good to.

also couldn't i stay in boost longer with the f22 tranny?

Just all depends. My h22 tranny is geared alittle differently I think. I remember when I had a prelude for a little while, 80 was 4k in 5th. The tranny I have right now 80 is 3k in 5th. The only thing different in this tranny than my last are the first 3 gears. There hella short compared to before.

thats kinda what i'm worried about vtec, turbo, 12 pound act flywheel and short gears, not really a good combo. i might go ahead and put the h22 tranny in and see how it does. if i don't like it i can always put my f22 tranny in, i guess.
