    Disabling airbag in 93accordex

    Hey since im going to be working on my bumper and fender in 5 days id like some help on disabling my airbag

    I just don't want it to deploy when im doing stuff to my bumper.. and i may never make it work again.. becuase yeah..

    I belive all you have to do it take out that fuse with the yellow thing aorund it? correct? anything else? Please let me know....

    O yeah good news.. Im bringing my car on thursday to a autobody place to get an est. on fixing the bent metal so i hope its under a g id be happy

        ive pulled my bumper and had no problem with the airbag... i wouldnt worry about disabling it, just disconnect the battery if you really are concerned.

            Wrong, there is a backup power supply inside the SRS system, to disable the airbag:

            Pull the fuse, and under the steering wheel, remove the cover and disconnect the harness, and plug it into the the (red connector) dummy plug. But like Mike said, you shouldnt have a problem if your just pullin the bumper and fender off.

                The Intertia swtiches for the SRS system in the Accord aren't anywhere near the bumper so why bother fucking with the SRS system.
