Wow man ... did you bring this up at the meet yesterday?

I'd say you're simply *burnin it* ?? How many miles on that h22 ? Silly question but ..
are you checking it at a *level* stance? Hot.. cold? You sure you have no leaks around the
    dizzy?

I get a different reading sometimes depending on how hot or cold the motor is ...or
just how long I let it sit, after a long run like yesterday up to the big O ..

I had the smallest leak, and had a difficult time finding it .. finally, I looked right under the dist.
and noticed a lil oil on my sensor.. found out that the little o ring on the dizzy was bad..
and the sending unit was also leaking just a tad, so little.. that it was hardly even noticeable.
That o ring was like 2 bucks .. and I got another sending unit switch, and walla ..no more leakie ..

Check if you're *smokin* on start ups .. or have someone follow behind you ..and when you
*stab it* .. have um notice if they see any smoke .. just my 2 cents .. but.. hope you find
what the culprit is .. was great meeting you yesterday, now go find that damn leak .. lol

    A Hui Hou !!!

        ..where'd you get this info??

anyways, mdizzle..check the back of the dizzy(o-ring) for oil residue/oil leaks. also, check the vtec solenoid assembly for minor leaks there too. i had a similar problem and saw oil residue building up on the tranny, and found out it was the o-ring on the dizzy. good luck and keep us updated.

My H22 doesn't use any oil.

Does that mean I don't use vtAk enough?

just because he had an h22 doesnt mean every h22 in the world burns tons of oil. that same thing happened to my f22 and my moms saturn. so that means every f22 in the world burns all of its oil in 3k miles right?

mike, idk what to tell u, cept my moms saturn was burning tons of oil because of a stuck PCV valve. theres a few ways/reasons why a motor can burn oil.

true. Not "tons" of oil but H sereies motors do burn oil. Particularliy if you live in VTEC.

hell ya, great place to live isn't it? Ya, like they said...I'd just check the dizzy. I know that the F22a1 I bought had that problem, except it was leaking oil there like there was no tommorw.
